When I went to the Police Academy I got the award for top shooter in my class.

Of course,

It was an online academy.......

Yeah--Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet.

Although I heard that the first e-mail was sent in 1073 by someone in the Air Force.

I first qualified with the S&W Model 19 .357 Magnum. I shot 378 out of 400 on the Marine Corps course--which was awkward to shoot because it was set up for the 15-round M92 Beretta not 6-round speed loaders. Using speedloaders instead of magazines makes you more busy--and all the shots are double action full pulls since they will kill you if you try to use your thumb. The State Department course was all combat shooting and I didn't do as well, though I did well. When I shot the M92 on the Marine Corps course I shot a possible 400 out of 400. It was like a kids game compared to using a revolver. The old 45 I shot in bootcamp had a very narrow grip. Nothing like as natural as the M92. Nothing like the power of the 357 either. The M92 Beretta is the best handgun made if your purpose is to put metal on target. I worked next to the armorers for a year and tried a lot of other competitors. I still prefer the revover, but out of the autos the M92 is by far the best.

Sorry for the distraction. You guys can get back to talking about Jim's wife's shirt now.

there is one up side to me being in 2wd. i seriously doubt i can break anything with the the 31 spline 8.8 and a mini spool if all i am running is 31s. i need 33s!

86

PS i do have 4wd still but 355s front and 456s rear wont get along to well.....

well having being going to fireball for the last twoish years and last friday being the first time going to yl. i would go to yl ten fold. i wheeled there in my truck for 5 hours last friday. fireball is nice to watch but as far as going into the mud pits there they have so much crap in them. the obs. corse is ok. i wanna go muddin in mud, not crushed blacktop, gravel, sand and what ever ealse they put in there. word to the wise if you go to fireball take apart all your brakes and ripp off your rotors cuz they will be full of crushed blacktop and rocks, ect. i would meet ne one if they want to wheel any one of them but i'd rather run the pits at yl.

so any one making plans on going this week to yankee lake truck nite? just got some small things to do to my truck and i'll be there, hope to hear back from some of ya about going.

Looks like its time to build a 98+ Rig to complete the main generations of rangers you own

Hell yea, Jim should do an 2012 Rig. I hear they're going to be the last year now that they extended the line.

Costly though. And you wouldn't want to hurt it.

Ok guys, got my new Holley carb today.

I think it's awesome that Holley took my old Truck Avenger and sent me the new and improved version at no cost.

Can't wait to put it on!
