Ignition Problem 1993 3.0

Well I couldn't say, you'd have to do some digging around. I know Ive seen a few websites list what vehicles used it.

The locations on mine ( 93 3.0 );

The diode, fuse, and relay are in the main power distribution box under the hood.

The TFI ignition control module is either in a heat sink up next to the radiator or mounted on the side of the distributer. If its on the dist it will have an additional 3 pin plug in the side of it.

The crankshaft position sensor is inside the distributer. You will have to rebuild the distributer to replace it. They don't often go bad.

The PCM connector is inside the engine compartment. it is under the master cylinder. Its the tall rectangle one.

The ignition coil is on top of the intake manifold.

Does a 1987 Ranger, with a 2.9 engine, have these components, also?

And if so, where are they located?

Kinda. PCM relay is next to the air box, under the cover by the fender. It's the black one.

PCM itself is behind the passenger side kick panel.

PCM power diode.... not sure about that one.

87 doesn't have an under hood fuse block.
