ignition coil

i have a 99 ranger 4.0 v6 looking for after market ignition coil what is out there and where can i fing them summit only has accel i was there this morning i am running ngk irdium plugs with ngk wires just need new coil pack

I love my msd ignition coil. Less resistance in it vs the stock one. Dont expect any big performance gain either. You probly wont even notice anything.

Stock works just as well.

You won't notice a gain in performance.... Despite what some people may claim...(thinking back to pissing match on here a few months ago).

check out www.stuffforyourranger.com he has the screamin demon coil there... i bought one for my truck since i needed a new one and it was the same price as a new stock one

the DIS ford uses on their motors is extremely effective...so much so that MSD actually based their "upgraded" ignition off of fords stock setup. NOTHING will be gained by replacing your stock stuff.

if it ain't broke and runs fine, DON'T F.W.I
but if you must, make sure EVERYTHING matches to get the most bang for your buck, ex: excell super coil, excell wires, excell plugs, yada-yada
