If you use your wife's roof rack for pulling motors, you might be a redneck

Hey guys, thought you might like this :)

Someone asked what other colour rangers we have... just the 3. Reason for pulling that motor was to rebuild it and place it into the white ranger. (the one that is hidden and you can only see a part of the grill). The motor was placed into the blue truck at 250K and was from an Exploder so I have no idea how many clicks are on it put another 200K on it and now it is time to give her some internal work.

All I gotta say>>>

STOUT freakin roof rack!!! <<<< Angie was more worried about her canopy that she traded a guy for a case of beer, all I heard was that better NOT slip!!!!

cheers guys

Maybe.... if you'd had your wife, or somebody else.... jump on the front bumper it would have sagged the susp. enough to get the motor out sooner.

I say this because, that's what I had to do on my dually (but it took 1 skinny guy and a fat guy plus my awesomely chiseled frame) and a lot of sweat producing precission to not destroy the front clip/radiator with a 1,200 lb motor while using a cherry picker that was scaring the living hell out of us and backing off. (L&L diesel has since gotten a new one)

Once upon a time, the air-shocks on my camaro slowly leaked out (ok blew off, due to improper installation) as I was working on my fuel system........ as I lay there trapped, I reached my cell phone and dialed the house for an uhm, help I'm stuck under the car "again" and it's really kinda starting to get uncomfortable (that whole crushing my chest thing), step-dad laughed, realized I was serious and came out lifted up on quarter panel of car... I slid out, and fixed the damn lines!!!
