^^^Definitely do not use a local lawyer 99.9% of the time they are working together with law enforcement, judges, prosecutor, etc. and receive a kickback for purposely screwing people that they represent.

Had an incident at work with a guy. Long story short. He's an ex cop arrested me before. He tried to get me fired he also got himself fired. He's mad about it. He's pressing charges on me for Idk what yet. Neighbor said the cops have been here every day looking for me. I'm always gone when they show up.

If co-worker was a former officer of the law, professionalism & ethics should still stand. It seems he set a poor example & I have nothing but contempt due to his "bullying".
You were violated in 3 different categories :
A) physical altercation (pushed)
B) Verbal & derogatory comments (too slow, etc)
C) Social (using police force to help assist his mental anguish)
Perhaps a lawsuit against the ex-cop will help bring out the question of his bad habits/ behavior (resorting to middle school behavior & pulling a double standard). I also would recommend pursuing a lawsuit against company for hiring the troublemaker in first place & let the jury of your peers decide the outcome-

if hes ex cop he was let go for something, prolly violence. go talk to the cops, there is nothing they can arrest you for at this time. they can only require that you appear in court

He was fired from his sheriff duty, for stalking his ex wife... he was in the navy too. Think he would know better
