Identify This ??

If that's a 12-valve 2.6 motor, it's for the soot filter. Once in a while it has to burn out the build-up and it uses a spark plug thing in it. Look for a chamber right in front of the catalyst in the exhaust (or maybe behind). It should run to that. That's why those engines have an extra valve per cylinder.

I was about to say that your truck would still run just fine (depending on which bank it was on) with one wire missing and you wouldn't hardly even notice it.

I didn't know if your truck had a 4 cyl with a dual spark head or not... At least we got it figured out that it didn't hurt anything, but it also doesn't belong there.

Edit: I just read Will's post above... I don't understand much of what he's talking about, but he knows more than me I'm sure.

Congratulations, you have a free spare spark plug wire. A wire which will not work with your truck however. I guess that makes it just about next to useless.

That's the wire to the flux-capacitor.

gotta make sure ur Mr.Fusion is functioning properly otherwise u wont generate the 1.21 jiggawatts required to power the flux capacitor....

That was the wire that was to be connected to the exhaust for the flame show out the tail pipe.
