hell 4Tb of harddrive would be great...

Winblows XP can only handle up to 4Gb of Ram if I recall... anything after that is useless. (32 bit XP) The 64bit version can handle up to 16Tb if you have the Intel Itanium chip... But I believe that most 64 bit versions and hardware can handle up to 32Gb.

What on earth would make you want to run windows on one of these? Most mainframe type machines that I have been around use some type of proprietary OS or a Unix/linux based OS. I'm not saying you couldn't, I just haven't been around many that do.

Windows as a server sucks on all but the smallest systems, IMO.

I think that those are not mainframe computers, but more closer to the PC based servers...

When I think IBM...I think mainframe, and 3400lbs sounds mainframe to me.

Up to 64 cores? Are we talking about 64 CPU Cores or 64 CPU dies? And with that many, I would use 62 of them just for Folding@Home and the last two for my personally enjoyment.

A system like that just makes my system look like a water drop in a ocean. Very tiny and non-existent. I'm quite help with 2GB RAM and 1TB Storage (soon to be 2TB total and 3x HDD).
