I wish this site had an app

I'm trying to save the planet here. Wood made into paper safely holds its carbon, instead of it getting burned and putting the carbon into the air. Your grandkids will thank me . . .

I've tried them, but just don't care to have a smartphone.

Gotta go now; it's time to go watch That '70s Show, if I can get the rabbit ears adjusted right.

Peace, man.
Paper? Piffle! Kids these days. Why, when I was a kid, we thought it was great when Cuneiform 1.0 was released. The auto-correct sucked, but it was sure better than Hieroglyphics 8.2. Let me tell you, that was a pain. Especially the grammar. Eye before Bee except after Sea. Oh, and then someone comes along with their fancy-schmancy papyrus. OOHHH, wasn't that all the rage. Going to change everything they said. It did make cooking the books to evade taxes a little easier. After all, it wasn't like the figures were set in stone!

Paper...hmmph!!!

Cuneform 1.0 auto-correct is still better than what those shart phones got. Atleast when you wrote coke they knew you were talking about soda or drugs, not asking for d**k pics. Damn smartphones.

Probably the funniest typo I've personally ever seen. In the airplane I used to work there was a piece of the engine mount that we called a coke bottle. Well I needed to replace one due to wear so I input the work order and waited for it to be input to the system to order the part. A few days later and there still wasn't an work order for replacing the coke bottle in the system. I went to ask the scheduler about it and she pulled up a listing of all work orders on the aircraft, and found it on there. When we realized the reason it wasn't turning up in my search she was EMBARASSED! When she transcribed it into the system, she didn't type coke, but still a 4 letter word and three of them were the same. Prety tame in comparison to many typos and auto corrects, but the situation made it great.

I stopped using Tapatalk because the sites software is mobile friendly.

What would you want the app to do?

Is there anything I could try to add to make the site easier to use?

Good questions. Maybe there is some need or feature that we don't fulfill simply because we are old fogies and don't understand how the younger people want to interract with the site.

Personally, I'm good with it the way it is. I'm tired of everything having a separate app to install. Most places or things that have apps are doing it so they can monitor usage and collect data for marketing purposes. We don't need that here. I hate stepping into McDonalds and seeing a self-order kiosk, in addition to signs telling me to download an app and order ahead, while there is a person standing right there at a POS computer who could take my order. How many choices do I need? Half the time, the order is filled wrong no matter how I placed the order. Or I sit down In a restaurant and there is a little sign with a QR code on the table "scan this code to see our menu or download our app." Just give me a laminated sheet of paper with the menu printed on it. Stop making things overcomplicated. Stop being so easily offended. Stop questioning your sexual orientation. Stop....

Sorry. I'm old.

Is there like a cable I could plug into my desktop, and then someplace in my truck, where you can fix it for me over the internet?
Currently in development. But we're hitting some technology compatibility snags.

I have an 8-track to cassette adapter around here somewhere, that I think would fix the problem . . .
Definitely couldn't hurt anything.
