Theres parts from germany, mexico, on my ranger

I wish i had a different colored exterior than silver because it matches to much with my rims.

I don't like the look of tinted windows.

yeah. gonna have that.

there is a saying....about collection of things and each hand and seeing which fills up first.

Lots of ways to change that, man! Trade it for another one, or if you want to keep it, look into tint removal. You can wrap the truck. Spray it with stuff from DipYourRide. Hell, people have had great results just using Rustoleum. The question is, where do your priorities lie?

When I was a kid, enthusiasts argued for days on end about whether tint looks cool or stupid.

Tinted windows are a pain at night, but I hate it more when I burn myself on trim all summer and the A/C takes 15 minutes to do anything.

I do miss cars coming in more colors.

Lots of color choices here at BMW. Some cost extra. I just pulled up a chart showing 157 colors.

I can remember when i still had my 68 thunderchicken, with black vinyl seats and the metal shifter, I'm surprised i didn't get branded by that thing

I resemble that comment. LOL

Give me that truck for a day. I bet I could make it stand out.

I'd take a silver 2002 Ford Ranger FX4 in a heartbeat. I'd buff/wax it, repaint the trim and fender flares black after making sure I cleaned them real good to remove any silicone. Krylon fusion Satin Black is great on plastics, and then apply some tire shine and it would look amazing. Buy a lightbar that mounts where the license plate goes (like I put on the B2 Marauder) and then add two round LED offroad lights to it to lend to it's offroad styling. License plate bolts back onto the mount.

It's a beautiful truck and a desirable truck. It just needs a little detailing.

We both have silver Ford Ranger FX4's, but you have the original that started it all. I'd have a way better chance at finding a silver 2021 FX4 than a 2002. I think they made way more red FX4s in 2002 than silver.

Do you want to buy my 2002 Ford Ranger FX4 someday. Can you tell that my passenger front door was repainted.

I've had over 80 cars and trucks, silver isn't the most attention getting color but it's great for a daily driver. I bought a new silver 99 Taurus that looked great freshly washed and waxed and still looked decent after driving to work for 2 weeks, rain or shine. My black and gold Mustang looks great for a few minutes when it's clean before dust settles on it, during the summer it's like an oven in the sun. If you tough the gold stripe it's hot, if you touch the black flesh sizzles.
The constantly leaky early 4.0 ohv, the 4.0 SOHC with a Rube Goldberg timing chain system, the megabucks-to-fix Bosch alternators and starters, and the ZF CVT's all came from Germany. The 70's 4 speed single rail overdrive that constantly popped out of 2nd gear, the Focus/Fiesta door latches with plastic internal parts that broke and let doors fly open, and the shrapnel throwing Takata airbags came from Mexico. I'm not a fan of the global economy.
