I'll wait a couple days before personalizing and getting my dark theme back. But all this crazy clean white background is messing with my head.

At the moment those templates don't work. I have to either fix the template to make them compatible with the forum software or create new ones.

I've been up all night. The hosting company and I updated the MySQL (MariaD), the operating system, and the forum software. I actually had to update to a newer version before I could update to this version. We had to fix a database problem when we tried to upgrade the media gallery. It's been a pretty long process and I'm relieved that the hardest parts are over, but there's still some work to do. I still have to do something about the templates, and I need to upgrade the PHP, but I have to update the software for the part of the site outside of the forum and make sure the site, forum, and php version all work together.

But right now, I really need to grab a couple hours of sleep.

Get some rest, you all have earned it! We can tolerate things while the little things get worked out, this is a huge forum to migrate over to something new.

I've done these things before but not on a site as large as this one.

A minor thing for your list forthe old farts like me.

The black font that makes up these texts that I’m writing right now, could be dark ideally could be darker, ideally black.

Ditto on the blue font when people like something, it could be a darker blue.

I have to wear the reading glasses all the time anyway, but I can barely read this without them, and that was not an issue before

Take your time. The site is functional. Don't burn out trying to do everything ASAP. This is NOT a life or death thing.
