I went and failed

Wow my high school had 2500+ kids, and my graduating class had 700+. The average class size was 30-40 kids. Maybe thats why they allow a 59.55 passing.

Dang, my high school graduating class was only about 55 total. If you didn't actually know everone in high school, you could at least recognize them by face. Heck, the whole town only had 1800!:woot: Still about the same size last I knew.

wow yeah I def had classes with almost that many kids haha. I graduated in 05' and currently there are 2672 in my old high school. I believe it was the highest populated HS in my county. Oh well, if you knew every kid in my school you would have to spend everyday meeting new people haha.

Yeah, but when someone did something stupid, EVERYONE knew it! :taunt: Not that I'd do such things... :icon_rofl:

Oh well, still with 2500 kids we all seemed to know when someone did something stupid haha. We even had a freaking shooting in my school while I was there...they only shot the floor, but still a gun in a school, that was a very weird day. The principle comes over the speaker and says to stay in the class rooms until further notice, and not to be alarmed, but its hard not to be alarmed when there are 200 cops outside the school...

Pfff, 55 is huge.

15 here. I had two classes my senior year with 5 people in them. Had to fight to get them to have the classes also as there was a 6 student minimum (Pre-calculus and Physics, the two highest classes offered at our high school, that didn't help to much when I went to college). Threatening to transfer to a school at another town and write a letter to the editor about them not offering classes when we just had a brand new football field built (for our team that is lucky to win 3 games in a season) got the classes offered.

If you put as much effort in to your studies as you do posting here, you'd be a freaking genius.

Can't you go to summer school to pass the English and get them to move on to 8th?

He would but the teachers in his area refuse to work summer school due to his violent nature...lol! They'll probably just vote unanimously to pass him if he threatens to go to summer classes...

Jim, you beat me to my comment. Really though, what is it, 1600 posts? with all that time you could have been studying, even just skimming the pages, you could have been in the 80+% area. I was never good in school (I'm dyslexic, and have mild ADD), but I still managed to pull off 75%+ in all my classes, even the ones I sucked at, and I hardly ever studied, and I'm by far, not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Secondly, if you're going to call out a teacher, tell them after you have the grade in your hand and school is officially over. Like my grade 9 English teacher, pissed me off for the entire year, and at the end of it (after I was holding my report card), I went up to her when everyone else was saying goodbyes, and I told her she was a bitch and I never liked her (she had it in for me the entire year, even when I had an asthma attack in class she told me to be quite and quit faking it, and to do my presentation, I got up to the front of the class, still coughing my ass off, started my presentation the best I could, had a coughing fit, and passed out, I broke 3 ribs coughing so hard, and when I passed out I nailed my forehead on a desk and sliced my head open. She failed me on the project, and wouldn't let me do it over again).

Side note, RedRanger what town did you graduate in? I have a lot of family in BC and almost everyone lives in a small town, and with the whole town only having 1800 people, its kind of sounding like Lillooet.

I was thinking about summer school, but my average is only 49, so i think that they might have me put on anyways

Practice saying, "would you like fries with that", you will need it if you keep goimg like that.

I thought they only put the cuties in the front and the guys are in the back flipping burgers and mopping McGooop off the floor...

hey boggin, you can have all the temper you want, bottom line is the teachers are being paid to be there, you can be kept back a bunch of times and what does the teacher care, they are there to collect a check and go home.

Really I never understood How people failed in general school. I really never worked in school. I would show up 98% of the time and never had anything below a C. I believe that the whole time I was in high school I never took my books home with me. and I will say that the only goal I had in school was to keep my grades up High enough to play sports. I was going to pratice everyday I was in school. every season I was doing something Maybe you just need somthing at school like wrestling, so when you **** up your parents and the coaches will kick your ass.
