I was sitting there in my Edsel...

I keep forgetting there are Canadians on here.

What's it like being a Canadian? I always thought the US should just annex Canada and add it to Alaska, or make a couple more states. Canada couldn't defend themselves from any foreign attack. Militarily they are just kind of a joke. I think in Kosovo they wouldn't let you fly your planes because you couldn't be bothered to keep them updated. Obviously you rely on the USA to protect you. Makes it cheaper to be a socialist country when you don't have to pay for a real armed force. Don't pretend you can actually defend yourselves.

If I were the president, I would just annex Canada, like Putin did in the Ukraine. Stop pretending. Hopefully Trump wins and annexes Canada. Russia would have moved into most of your territory if the USA weren't your neighbor.

Being Canadian is good...we thought about just annexing the US too...but that would mean putting so many politicians out of work and training them to say "EH" while eating pizza.

They know not to mess with us because all the missiles in the US have "Made in Canada" stamped on them...well, maybe not now since that idiot who tried stamping one after it was armed...but that was a Syrian terrorist, er, refugee that made the mistake...understandable since he was only in the country for a few days before they put him to work...

Edsels... lol. I'm sure most of them bit the dust in demo derbies in the '60's. Nobody wanted such a weird looking car. FoMoCo had trouble selling Lincolns from the same era, probably for the same reason.

Random thought, is it called Canadian bacon up there or is it just bacon? :icon_confused:

I found out after I moved up here :)

bacon is bacon, US or Canada, pork belly strips

Canadian bacon is pork loin salted and cured like ham, and it is called Canadian bacon up here too, lol.

Ham is leg, thigh or rump pork, salted and cured

Although strictly from a description point of view if you are eating bacon(pork belly strip) that was made in Canada then I guess you would be eating Canadian bacon :)
Even though it isn't "Canadian bacon"

There was a running joke on here a few years ago about bacon bits...fake bacon...developed in Canada...apparently...I rarely eat that stuff...too salty for my tastes...

I was not too pork savy as my family never ate it when I was growing up...and out...but, yeah...I developed a taste for the "Canadian Pizza" that has bacon and something else on it...mushrooms...and mystery meat...probably BEAVER...not "the Beave"...not the female meat...and not Justin...good old tree eating beaver as seen (formerly) on the Canadian nickel...
