im gonna rhino line my floor in my 99 and i was wondern if any of you guys had some pics i could see before i do it

thats alrite does it get louder with just the lining colder hotter any negatives about it

I was too lazy to sand it down so my 99 is just sitting at bare metal and it is LOUD in there.

You gonna carpet over it, or leave it at bedliner?

H/O gotta go through 380 pics on my phone to find em. Then upload to Photobucket.

As you can see I chose to leave the firewall insulaton, and I haven't gotten to making my diamond-plate shifter plate. I scuffed the floor with 80 grit before painting.

Sure, sounds good :D

lol. thanks man preciate the pics looks good does it get any colder or hotter or louder after you lay the stuff. and im just doing the liner so i can eliminate the carpet and i dont want the rubber floor mat thing

I don't really know. If you were to look at my build thread you would see my truck was taken off the road last December and isn't quite back on yet...

Can't say in a ranger, but i got the carpet in my jeep rubi a bit muddy, and decided to remove it. Stripped the truck to bare metal with just the drivers seat left in, and dropped it off at a rhino linings dealer. 400 bucks got the whole tub lined, so i assume it would be around half that for a ranger.

As to noise, it really didnt increase much, but the jeeps don't have as much insulation as the rangers do. Heat, it does get warm around the tunnel, but doesn't cause an issue for me.

Would i recommend it? HELL YES If you want the ultimate in no maintenance floor protection, it rocks. My jeep stays topless all summer, and after 2 years, still looks as good as when it was sprayed in.

im also planning this and as for the sound im not sure my buddy did it in his blazer but it has a 350 with open headers so its hard to tell the difference
