LOL these are great....
I used to work at Home Depot and i'd get lots of crazy questions and requests....
i used to work in the doors/windows and i would get A LOT of people coming in to look at windows. i would ask them what size and type (wood or metal). response "just normal ones", "they're average" or "standard ones".... then i'd tell them there isn't really a "standard" but there's a few common sizes. then they would tell me that their house was built by so and so or it was located in such and such neighborhood; like that's going to help me narrow down the size

Then I worked for Alltel a few years ago doing tech support and i heard all kinds of crazy things. Like their cell phone doesn't have a connection to a satellite, i would tell them it doesn't use satellites and they would argue with me.
The best, was when someone would call in on the phone that they are having problems with. for example, their new phone wouldn't call anyone except Alltel, i probably needs to be programmed. This can't be done while they're on the phone because there's a series of buttons that usually have to be pressed to get in to the correct menu. So i would ask the caller if there is another line i can reach them on, some would argue with me about it and ask why they need to be on another line. i would try to explain why we cannot program the phone they are talking on and they just didn't get it. So i would get fed up with stupidity and ask them to write down the programming instructions and try it while we're on the phone....i would tell them something like "press MENU, 1,2,3,4, MENU, then the RED END BUTTON". They would say, "OK, hold on"...you could hear, beep, beep, beep, beep....silence. LOL. loved doing that.
