I agree with you. I think all these guys think I'm gonna run over shopping carts at wal-mart with it or put it in a demo derby or something.

My definition of beating the **** out of something is burnouts, high speed runs, taking it to the track often, have FUN with it.

If it gets a dent in it from driving it, big deal, we've got more than enough flat black urethane for it, I'm an i-car certified body repair man/painter, and have experience restoring classic cars.

I'm not that guy that wipes my car down with a diaper, and leans a cry-baby doll on the front bumper at the local cruise-in. I build 'em to drive 'em, not let them sit in the garage.

to be honest I haven't checked the cowl. I'll check it, but judging by the shape of the rest of the car I'm not all too worried. You have any more pics of yours?

Cool project man, and nice find on the motor. I'd have no chance finding a 351C for that price around here, they get snapped up so fast.

I'd drive the thing too. Buy matchbox cars if you want to have a museum piece

Man, those CRX cars are the ultimate jewels for street bombers. Super small, lots of upgrades available, and lots of HP options also. I'm a fan of small vehicles(hence why I drive a Cobalt and a 92 ranger), but the extra fiberglass, $1200 wing, and a Cambells soup can for an exhaust, that's where I get a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm the old fashioned all go, no show kinda guy.

Yea I'm figuring this whole sheet metal thing as I go. I'm nervous about doing the lower quarter panels myself tho.

Floors and such don't have to be as pretty. I'm happy with what I have done so far tho.
