Propane torch sounds like fun...I tried a Bic lighter to no avail...lol...couldn't strike the dang thing because my thumb was so cold...I've broken a few of those nozzles over the years trying to bang the ice off them...not a recommended procedure...![]()
I tried a butane torch once. It was just as worthless as a Bic lighter because the wind keeps blowing it out. The propane torch works good, but it's obviously too much heat and you'll QUICKLY burn something, or perhaps even crack the windshield or something so you just gotta wave it back and forth across the nozzle a few times. The nozzle is so small, you only need to melt like half a drop's worth of water then hit the washer fluid pump to flush it out so it's nothing but washer fluid left in there.
Good washer fluid, not that bug killing stuff that freezes.
