Well, at least the Ranger will be driven by a new owner rather than crushed or junked.

When I buy vehicles, I make a marriage commitment. "Till death do us part". Either I die or the vehicle is beyond being repair.

i have three IH scout II's. They are very well known for rusting out. Though 2 of the 3 i have are in great condition with minimal rust. The engines also last forever (not exaggerating.) great amazing trucks! look into them.

Yeah that's the sucky thing about any IH,they rust.

Ok get this-I sell my truck for 350 bucks on Monday.I told the buyer that it needs a new 5spd tranny(thus the cheap price) but is driveable-it has been for many years.In the back of my bed there was another 5spd that I never got around to install.I never talked about selling it-thus not part of the deal. He picks up the truck last night.I said thanks and good luck and end of story.Fast forward to this evening.He stops by and asked where the extra tranny was?I told him I still have it but it wasn't part of the deal.He calls me a crook and a thief,then I told him to get lost(more colorful adjectives were used)Now this really pisses me off to no end and I'm not about to give a $300 transmission on a $350 truck.This guy didn't want a bill of sale or even took this out for a test drive.
