I'm new at this and haven't been able to find any info on the easiest way to remove the passenger front axle slip/yoke out of frontend, so i can change the u-joint in it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks:icon_confused::icon_confused:

The diff needs to be dropped from the beam to get the clip out that holds in that inner axle shaft on the passenger side.

yea its def not a quick job. the pinch bolt is hidden inside the channel of the drivers side radius arm...that is by far the hardest part of the job to get that out cause there isnt enough clearance to slide it out of its hole after you loosen it. The right way is to take the radius arm off....the wrong way is to put a little notch in the radius arm to get it out....i wont say which way i used.

I had a couple of guys tell me that i can just push the yoke in hard and jerk it out, that will release the c-clip and come out IS THIS TRUE.

definitely NOT. You have to pull the pin out of the spiders to allow clearance for the shaft to come back before the clip can come out. Take a look at the tech writeup on C-clip eliminator in the tech section if your interested in a mod that will prevent you from having to drop the dif next time.....but for this time there is no other way...sorry!

Thanks for the info i geuss i'm off to drop a diff then.:sad::bawling:
