I use the 24-hr clock for everything. Easier that way.

Sometimes I do it just to screw with certain people. Never fails to entertain.

That said, its 2225, and time for me to rack out.

I never had any kids of my own but i raised both my nephews from the time they were 11 and 14.

My POS sister and her equally POS ex BF never did anything with them, let them do whatever they want, etc etc.

Now, ones 21 and one is 18. I cut the curfew rule when they turned 18. All i ask is they call if there not gonna be home, or home before 3AM. I trust them.

Ive also made it very clear, if they screw up, there paying the consequences with no help from me (as in bail, raising a kid, etc), same way my parents were with me. You can do whatever you want (pretty much) but if you get in trouble you better be able to pay the price.

im 19 and i was alwasy raised that when i was meant to be home at 5 i was home at 5. if i was late the 1st 5 mins cost me a week the second 5 mins cost me another an so on.... i havnt been late in 11 years hahaha i dont have a curfew but i do give my parents an idea on when im comming home. if somthing happens and i dont come home i txt them they get it when they wake up all is good.

as for them taking my truck it'll never happen one because it is MY truck i bought it myself i do every piece of work it needs, i pay for everything, i have my own insurance. and thats how its been for me with everything i buy it and i respect it.

i see some kids comming into the shop every 3 montsh getting ball joints tie rod end, various bushings and daddy or mommy foot the bill every time ( all the time wondering why the cars always "falling" apart)

and then theres the whole thing that i have to work so i need my truck or ill never leave their house

ive never been really physically diciplined except once.(i was a really little kid. like the smallest one in my school i got into fights everyday) see i was raised NEVER to start a fight or pick on someone but at the same time i should NEVER back down from a bully or anything along those lines. there was one time when i was young i made the mistake of breaking that rule i started a fight. when i got home my dad wanted to show me what it was like to be picked on by someone bigger and stronger. i never have broken that rule scince. i will do evrything i can to talk my way out but if push comes to shove i can push a whole hell of alot harder.
i always back up friends and family i have a cousin that i grew up with saw every day shes my sister more then anything. once a kid decided to use her she came to me and told me what happend. i drove the hour to where she lives and goes to school and found the kid. long story short no one has ever treated her the same way they always repect her. (and im not allowed around that school anymore haha)
i dont care family comes first then friends id do anything for any of my friends and die for family its just that simple

anyhow, i dont have any kids myself, but i agree with what y'all are saying and i sure as hell am not gonna try to tell you how to raise or discipline your child. it's none of my business (or the dumb bitch that called you an asshole) but mostly i dont give a sh*t....it's your kid not mine, why would i waste my time worrying about them? if i were you i'd tell that bitch to mind her own business
