I have no temp control

if i turn on the blower no matter if the a/c is on or not the air blowing out is at max heat it will not come out any cooler no matter what the temp setting is at

When was the last time your A/C was recharged?

just recharged it did not change temp at all seems like temp select switch not working like its stuck on max heat compresser is working and lines are cool

That's kind of weird. Are you sure the A/C compressor clutch is engaging?

check your cable going to your heat exchange door. It is the cable coming from the temp setting, sounds as if though it broke, start there, I believe there is also a vacuum motor under the dash, passenger side next to the kick panel. Start there, and tell us what you find.

It depends upon model year, but many of the later models use vacuum actuated temperature doors. If the vacuum system leaks, the door stays on hot.

It's worth chasing all the vacuum line to see if any are broken or separated. It happens all the time.

I bought a Ranger this weekend and it had that exact problem. I would turn A/C on and it would blow full hot. By taking off the know and turning it with my fingers, I was able to figure out that it was the controller unit that went bad.

I ordered one from eBay, should be here this week. Here is another one I found
