I hate life right now

Know this. If your college is not nationally accredited, almost no college will accept your credits. ITT tech credits are not transferrable but I have options after. Certain college that have online courses accept ITT techs and most of those are nationally accredited.

So get a job lol

An education is worth the money, good job for making the effort!

I can tell you right now that I finished a 4 month work term after 2.5 years of post secondary (university/college) education and got paid A LOT MORE THAN I SHOULD HAVE. Buisnesses want people who learn how to think.

Yes, some people walk out of a school after four years with a sheet of paper and say they haven't used it yet. I challenge that. The things you learn in school aren't always on a test! It's the small things, like how to work in a group, how to plan, how to put your nose to the grindstone and get something done no matter how bad you want to slack off.

If you pay your own way you'll get a much better education too. You know how much your money is worth, and I can guarantee that you will take everything you can get from that college to make it worth it. You'll pay attention, you'll work harder, get better grades, get better jobs, get more money... which all leads to a better truck with more toys :)

Good on ya'!

hey man, if you still don't have the cash by the deadline, let me know a few days in advance and i'll front you the cash if i have it to spare.

That'd be nice of you, but I'd rather either earn it or sell the ranger, or something, I am always uneasy about borrowing money.

well, i'd buy your ranger to get you the money, but i just don't want the truck, haha.

Good grief... dude you have more drama in your life than day time soap operas.:icon_rofl:

I try =D, shit, maybe I need a life, any suggestions? *sniff* haha

eh, I am replacing this old laptop, going to college, and have a girl I'd like to spend some time with, maybe thats my area right now. eh?

+1 Hepto on the truck (equals 84 being piece of shit)

u need to chill the fawck up.
they are sending u to a college? take it, it doesnt matter if u dont like it.

ur too young to be worried about a damn rusted truck.
dont get too stuck on a girl too, again ur too young to think u found "the right one"
once u get into the game ull find your "one" every weekend in a party.

so basically chill the fawck up. ur life isnt as bad as u might think.

if u wanna know about tough times come down here and take my place.

not like i would trade my place, im stressed up , but i wont stop giving em hell :headbang:

Hey, if your credits are non transferable, get the hell away from there. If you want to be a teacher, you have to be going to college that you can transfer credits.. Otherwise you'll be taking courses more than once. I know all about non transferable. I'm an ITT graduate.

ITT tech credits are not transferrable but I have options after.

I didn't know you were going to ITT. If I could give anyone advice on college, it would be to stay away from ITT and places like it. I work at the same job I did before, and I'm endlessly still paying on student loans. I should have taken courses at the local community college. It would have been cheaper, and major Universities accept most of their credits.

On a side note - I was told upon graduation that they would "place me" in a job. They were trying to get me to accept jobs paying between 9 and 11 dollars an hour, and all were temporary positions. So, IMO, don't trust "job placement" promises either.

Perhaps a DEEP breath will help out to sort the doldrums......
It looks like you're on the right track-
A) Hot math tutor
B) Nice mechanical drawings
C) Possible military service @ render first aid
D) Moms is a smart lady
E) etc, etc, etc.......
And this adage has been around for the longest time
To be old & wise,
One needs to be young & stupid !

I've been going to ITT Tech for a year now for computer networking and I am thinking hard about switching to another school for automotive as I now know it is my passion.

Prepare for it not to become your passion anymore. :) Might as well stick it out, ITT is not cheap and you're already a year in. Might as well finish what you have started.
