Hunting truck

Well, maybe the newer ones are a little different. The rule of thumb I heard was 2" over stock, max. Guess you're under that. My bad, carry on.

Get a real truck..Ford Raptor...if you beat the hell out of your trucks...an older Ranger will need to be repaired a lot if you are going to beat the crap out of it as you say you do.

If you beat the crap out of anything you will be breaking stuff. The older the cheaper to fix.

I prefer my fullsize though so I can lay the guncases in the back seat outside of the rain/sleet/snow and still have room for a copilot. All depends on what kind of hunting you do and how you do it though.

Where I hunt, if I can't get my F-150 to the critter I would be rolling multiple times and making the stupid little scrub cedar trees that much uglier. Seems it is either flat farmground or cliff face.

I hunt a lot, mostly deer and waterfowl. All I need is my truck to be able to get me in and out of my hunting spots and haul my game. Some 31" bfg at's and 4x4 and I'll pretty much make it through anything in my way!

i use my b2 to get in and out of the woods... 33's will make it easier tho! can't wait!

yep, my pretty lil b2 gets shoved out in the deep, dark, cold, wet woods....

thanks. most of the trails i have it on are wide enough for it. no tree scrapes.. maybe some "trail pinstripes" but hey, that's just clear coat usually.

and besides... i don't beat on my truck to hunt out of it. usually just put it in 4lo and crawl down these trails (most of the trails were made by lumber companies, i hunt a lot of paper mill land) i've had it stuck.. i've had it bottomed out in washed out areas.. i've had it almost scrap trees before. :icon_bounceblue:
