Hey, I'm new to the site! I just picked up a 1994 Mazda B4000 XCab 4WD, against everyone's insisting that anything associated with Ford is junk I went out on a limb and bought it. Please tell me I made the right choice, I've traditionally been a Chevy/Volkswagen guy but I've always liked the Ranger body. At $650 this truck was just too good to pass up. It has a small valve cover leak on the drivers side of the engine and a broken leaf spring shackle, but thats all easy fix. So tell me, did I make the right choice deciding to go Ford?

Welcome to TRS. Glad you finally got cured of that Chevy thing you had. And yes you made the right choice. Just look at some of the members trucks and read the forums and you'll see for yourself. This is the best site for RBVs.

I just brought her home today, if I can find my camera I'll post some pics up. Runs really rough when cold, temp sensor maybe? Runs great when warmed up though, nice and strong =)

Well, you have a lean mixture problem. Welcome to TRS by the way. It could be a vacuum leak, plugged fuel filter, dirty injectors, etc. AS well as a faulty temp sender.
With a good scanner, you can check the temp sensor against the temp gauge (or temp probe). The other things you have to check manually, I would start by replaceing the filter, since you have no idea when it was replaced, if ever.
