How do I remove the master cylinder on an 89 fm 146 next to the trany under the truck is a quick release thing that i need a special tool for or something?

uuuummm do you mean the slave cylinder. Master cylinder is on the firewall

You must mean the slave. There is a white plastic ring around it that needs to be pushed in (towards the transmission). You can get a special fork type tool (one often comes with a clutch kit if that's why you're pulling it) or you can use a combination of two flathead screwdrivers and needle-nose pliers like I've gotten pretty good at it.
