I’ve been trying to run wires through my firewall and I want to avoid drilling a hole if I can. The location on the left side of the firewall where the oem wiring is, does not have a hole. It’s uses a big set of pairing harnesses. Has anyone figured this out? Maybe I could run them through the hole where the clutch pedal would be since mine is automatic.

The easiest and neatest way is to use a tool that is basically a sharpened hollow tub with a handle. You push the tool through a rubber grommet or boot in the firewall, feed the wire through, and remove the tool. It cuts the rubber in such a way the the hole pretty much seals itself around the wire.

The max wire size is 10 guage. As long as you are using that or smaller, it will work. It has to be bare wire with no connectors.

They sell them on amazon for pretty cheap. I'll see if I can find one and share the link.

Oh man, that’s great. I might have to give that a try for some of the thicker wires I might have to run.

I found holes in the wiring harnesses where there were no prongs, I’m running my 14 gauge wire through it. You can’t go much heavier than that because there is not enough room in diameter.
