Either use a tape measure and measure the amount of exposed threads you have before you take it apart or count the number of turns it takes to remove the tie rod end. Install the new one with the same amount of turns or to the same measurement of threads showing. Once you get it together, it will be in the ballpark. I would take it in to a shop to have the alignment checked.

I have found that some aftermarket tie rod ends are slightly different in length. I usually measure from the centerline of the joint to the adjuster sleeve, then set the new one to the same distance.
And as stated, get an alignment.

Either way will get you close enough.

:icon_thumby: thank you guys for your help, I'll follow your advice.
Then can go for a Contol of Parallelism in a specialized workshop, if I find here in France

I've found that even with OEM, they aren't all the same length. Imperfections in the machining process and such. Count the turns, then go get it aligned.

I understand your advice.
Thank you very much
