How to drain the old fuel out of a 98 b3000

Alright... how to i get the old fuel out of the gas tank of a 1998 B3000? I know i can siphon it but is there any other way? Also the truck has been sitting for a year or so, I am replacing the engine soon but are the fuel lines are going to be too gunked up to be of any use? I'll probably run some seafoam to clear the lines up if the engine will run.

I know these are simple questions but some advice would be nice.

Easiest way I can describe is remove the fuel filter.
Get buckets/ whatever to catch the fuel.

Find the inertia switch, about where the passenger's toes hit.
Remove its connector.

Take a length of wire and connect it to the Battery Positive terminal.
Connect the other end to each of the pins in the inertia switch connector (try them all, it won't hurt anything) until you find the one that makes the pump run.

There are other ways, but that is the easiest to describe. I used a battery jumper box and two wires when I did it, the other goes to ground if you use an external battery.

If that fails you could drop the tank and empty it that way. I know JYs drill holes in the tank =) You could patch it after.

Couldnt you just drop the line at the FF and turn the key, doesnt the pump only stay on till it builds pressure? If it cant build pressure it should keep going?
