i would like to know how to bench bleed my clutch. All the post that i've seen says to invert the m/c but what way?Im having alot of problems with bleeding my clutch because of air in the system.

You just need to flip it so the hydraulic line to the slave is the highest point. Otherwise, any air in the master cylinder can stay there during the bleeding process.

I think this rly needs a rewrite in the tech section......enough people have struggled with it.

The end of the cylinder with the inlet/outlet on it needs to be highest....kindof makes sense doesnt it?

Best way to do it is unbolt it from the firewall, strap it or block it so it is at least horizontal, preferably even more (ramps help). Press a 1/4" ID tube onto the slave bleeder screw....a small wire type hose clamp helps, and run it up into your reservoir. Let it gravity bleed for a while, and keep topping it off. Then start hand pumping the master, checking fluid level now and then. Keep pumping till you see NO air running through the tube, then pump some more for good measure. Yank the tube off the bleeder and close it quickly. That should do the trick.

Bench bleeding sounds great, but i did it twice and it didnt amount to jack sh*t

thanks! i bleed for 3hours today and i have nothing.Everything is new so it has to be air in the system still. When i did the clutch i replaced every thing.I wanted to make sure everything was good so i wouldn't have to do something later.

Check out my write up on my repairs. About half way down the first page i have some pictures of what i just told you to do. Disregard the fact that it didnt quite work.....i later figured out i needed a new master. Once i had a new master i ran through the process again and it worked. There was a slight grind that went away on its own after a day of driving.
