I have a 2004 Edge. The lights point out to only about 15ft infront of my truck. How do I adjust them to point further out? What screws or adjusters to I have to turn and how far do I turn them to get them to point out?

Thank you, Rob

You take them to a properly equipped service station and say "my headlights need adjusting."

You WILL NOT get it close by rednecking it. You will blind oncoming traffic with your low beams, most likely. Headlight aiming is a precision adjustment that requires level ground, appropriate targets, and appropriate skills.

It's not that hard to do it right, though. You just need a little patience and the right information.

well hot damn, here I am thinking that its gonna cost me my left kidney. Guess thats what I get for thinking ya know. Thanks gentleman.

If you know somebody that also has an Edge then you can have them pull up to a building with their lights on. Make a note of where they are aimed. Then aim yours in the same spot.

When I rebuilt the front end of my old ranger, I did the headlights myself. Do it like the pdf file says and go for a drive. If you're satisfied, you're done. There will be a stud sticking up in the corner in front of the radiator support when you open the hood.

I used to have a $5 tool that hooked to the head light for adjusting it, very handy for a stock vehicle..... any thing lowered or lifted then it didn't work anymore.
