How stupid do you have to be to work at McDonalds "rant

I have a similar problem. I tell them sausage mcmuffin no egg. They ask "You want egg on that". I usually give up and wait for the food and check to see if there is egg on it. I then pull the egg off and flip it on the counter in front of them. The manager gets pissed and ask why I do that. I tell her I order without egg and I get egg most of the time. I would think after a couple of times they would get the hint. Then again I am a dick head.

haha this is awsome im 15 and i make fun of the dumb mcdonalds people all the time and they say im a loser because i work at a gas station! pumping gas isnt bad until you get the odd dumb ass that wants $13.56 in gas and you go over by $1 and then i get in s***

Sounds like my experience at A&W last week. I go through the drive thru and order a number 5 with chili cheese fries and a cherry pepsi no ice. the guy asks me 3 times what the drink order was, then tells me my total will be at the window. I drive up and he asks what I ordered. I told him chili cheese fries, he goes away for a sec, comes back and asks what combo I ordered, I tell him number 5, he goes away for a couple more seconds, then asks what the drink order was. At this I answered a fourth time cherry pepsi no ice. 5 minutes later I got my food.

I can't really hold the McDonalds by my house to the same level stupidity since my buddy Spencer works there for a second job. The guy's brilliant, has a secure job with Caterpillar, but is going through a brutal divorce, custody battle, and his wife isn't paying rent on the apartment. So, he gets to take that one as well as child support and has no choice but to work 30 hr at McDonalds

sounds like every McD's in Arizona. i finally came to the conclusion that if the person taking my order couldn't pronounce a single English word correctly i would walk out and not come back ever again, no wonder i don't eat fast food anymore.

Martin, did you know that if you get a large order of hashbrowns you get TWO? The employees at mcdonalds don't know that even though the menu says so.

hehe 9 dollars an hour at mcdonald's is still pretty low, in Fort McMurray, Alberta where i live, It's like 15 bucks an hour to work at mcdonalds up here.

my favorite is when you pay for the breakfast meal, drive off, finish your sandwich, go to wash it down with a bite of hashbrown and a gulp of oj from concentrate only to find they gave you just the sandwich and charged you for a meal.

I have been buying CR2032 batteries (for dawg's collar) at the local drug store. The last trip there there was a girl, probably about 17 y/o working the counter.
I walked up and asked her for a couple of CR2032 batteries.
"Do you have the number for them", she asked?
Yes, CR2032.
She looked at the rack on the wall behind her and said, "We don't have any."
I told her that the clerk I usually get them from gets them out of that little plastic box under the counter.
"Was she blond", she asked?
Sorry, I didn't notice.
"Well, was she pregnant", she asked?
Sorry, I was just buying batteries and never thought to ask if she was pregnant, but I'll play along if you like. Are you pregnant?
"NO", she screamed at me, as she turned bright red.
I was paying $2.85 for them, but now I just buy them on-line for less than $1 and the pregnancy issue has never come up.

I can't believe this tread came back to life so I might as well tell you what the eventual outcome was. After I returned home the boss was not happy that I had returned empty handed, so, out came the bacon, eggs and home made rolls and on went the stove. She never asks me to pick up from mickey d's any more but I do get many requests for the home made version. Gotta keep the boss happy and I don't have to deal with the frustration of some idiot who has no interest in what they're doing.

Didn't realize this thread was so old until someone pointed that one out.

As McD's, I pretty much stop eating there. Every time I go over to one, their dang shake machine is down. Or their fries are cold, or they miss ordered and give me something else. So the last time I've been to McD's is probably around 6 months or longer. As for Taco Bell, great service from them. Hardly ever screw up and if they did, they fix it right away. Even if that means extra nachos or tacos. So my average outing at TB is about once every 3~7 days.

Yep, the stupid ones are out there. Went to my bank drive-up with a check written out on their checks, just wanting to cash it and she asks "Do you have an account here?"
