How rare are manual shift transfer cases in Rangers?

The interior looks like mine, but mine has the XLT door panels.

The Royal blue grows on you after a while. The manual transfer case is also nice. :icon_thumby:

BTW, I love the green interior.

ugh. Porno red. Blue Waffle blue. Gross. I'll stick with Week Dead Gray thank you very little.

I was unsure about the blue interior at first, but its not bad since my truck is blue.

Red is the worst i think. it seem to bleach out and becomes a pinkish Red.
I'll stick with my Tan :)

I with you on that one. I put up with a blue interior (in a blue truck) for a while, but red..... never.

I went to look at a 1st gen Ex. Drove about 30 minutes, pulled up next to it, saw the red interior, pulled back out of the parking spot, and went home. :D

DARN!!! If I had to drive 3 min. to see that ugly interior I would have asked for a bottle of water....drank it and then said...'Hey. Can I use the can'? Crap a load...don't flush it...clog it up real good and the say....'Let me get the little lady and we'll be right back'. And don't return......lol

Well, the whole thing is irrelevant. I called and the lowest they would take is 3600. I told him it was too much and he agreed. With the low miles they will probably part it out. Too bad as it doesnt need much. He said the only damage to the bed is the right corner and the left bedside. And of course the tailgate and bumper.

Shame to part it out...

there's a reason that there are so many rangers out there, they're reliable little trucks... 3.0's are slow but can go 200k+ w/o problems. the 5 speed manual is reliable as well... 4wd issues are only auto hubs and the eletric t-case. since yours is a manual tcase you'll be good. i can't tell if it has auto or manual locking hubs..if it has auto's you might have some problems...

since it has a salvage title with such little body damage ( the tailgate is easily replaced..and it has like 1 dent in the bed.) i'd check and make sure the frame isn't bent as i don't see why the insurance company would put a salvage title of that truck...

other than that, and the ugly blue interior ..it looks good.

I wouldn't pay close to 4k for it though, especially for a salvage title..

The floor of the bed is probably crumpled a bit where the bottom of the tail gate is smashed in. You can also see where the passenger side bedside is tilted out out the top. It would obviously be easy to find a used replacement bed, but it doesn't take a whole lot of damage to total a 1996 Ranger. Im thankful my 95 has a plain ol' grey interior. I didnt know anything besides grey was offered in that generation ranger. My 93 f-150 was burgandy....It was alright, gave it an old school feel for sure. BURGANDY errrthing..

I could live with the blue interior, my mom had a 93 with it for 12 years, so I got used to it lol
It looks really clean, and I doubt the bend front bumper and rear damage could cause any frame damage...

You can always paint the interior parts black you know...

My cousin has a 95. It was white and got painted to yellow, it had the blue interior so he got seat covers and painted the plastic parts in black. looks really nice.
