saltwater immersion is always a total loss for insurance.we run into this all the time here,tourists let their cars go through a tide.even if you can drive it away,so many problems come up later it's not worth the insurance company's time to deal with it,so they just write it off.

Why don't people use their e-brake? That is so stupid! What makes a person think that a tiny little parking sprauge will hold forever on a incline like that with a load. Also when you go to put it in gear, you have to jerk it in to gear. I personally hate that. They make the e-brake for a reason, and not just emergencies.

Bean told News Center 5 that Ruest went to the back of the trailer hitch to release the boat then heard a loud pop. The parking brake had let go.
