how much cash would I get if i parted out a 2.0 motor? i know its not going to be much but at least 300 dollars?

i'd keep it...

keep the 2.0 block and swap on a 2.3 head with hydro cam with some porting and a good sized carb and you would have one sweet little motor

I'm getting a second truck for a V8 swap and it comes with a bad 2.0 in it
the truck is 300 bux and my parents think its a waste of money(they don't like fords ) so I'm gonna part out the motor and get what i can out of it then spend it on said ranger

it depends, some "junk" motors may only be worth scrap. i doubt if your gonna get 300 out of a junk motor unless youget lucky.

i was thinking oil pan, crankshaft?, block, and anything else that can be salvaged (hoping its a gasket so i could fix it and drive it around a while but idk)

depends how lucky you get then, my buddy bought a truck that "had a bad motor", we replaced the dist. and drove it for a year and then he sold it.
