the duff mounts(69 - 86 f-150) work great. Expecially with the plates i welded to the cross member. Got the engine where i wanted it with the motor mounts bolted to the block and the brackets bolted loosely to the mounts, moved the engine around slightly to line it all up perfectly then tac welded the plates tot eh cross-member.
And the motor sits just the way i wanted it too. So that the dual sump oil pan hugs the cross-member. im sure you can picture what i mean, the cross-member actually sitting between the 2 humps. Instead of what i had going on with the factory 4.0L mounts where the bottom of the front hump was sitting higher than the cross-member.
