how much would a 5.o conversion cost

the duff mounts(69 - 86 f-150) work great. Expecially with the plates i welded to the cross member. Got the engine where i wanted it with the motor mounts bolted to the block and the brackets bolted loosely to the mounts, moved the engine around slightly to line it all up perfectly then tac welded the plates tot eh cross-member.

And the motor sits just the way i wanted it too. So that the dual sump oil pan hugs the cross-member. im sure you can picture what i mean, the cross-member actually sitting between the 2 humps. Instead of what i had going on with the factory 4.0L mounts where the bottom of the front hump was sitting higher than the cross-member.

if u can find it, ive done a few of these for customers in the past, my average time is 2 days on these now, find a 90's 5.0 exploder at the junkyard(holy grail), that has everything u need todo FI 5.0 swap into ur ranger, and at the same time if its 4wd u get the d35 and 8.8 at the same time, it really is a sweet deal, all i really had todo is steal the plates from the exploder, bolt them inot the ranger and start hookin shit up, easiest its ever gone for me and the customer was happier then a pig in shit b/c it will look like a factory install when done
