How much longer will Chrysler last?

Fiat?

I do believe that stands for "Fix It Again, Tony".

I wouldn't mind having a 500 Abarth.

Psh... I want a Renault Clio V6! Mid engine v6 rwd in a sporty design. :headbang:

I don't know about chrysler... the dealership I just cruised around pretty much stocked a viper, then tons of trucks and minivans with challengers speckled through out the lot... No small cars whatsoever. not to mention looking at the lineup htey don't even really offer a small car and all the mid sizes look almost identical! Dodge may have the diesel but apart from that I'm not impressed... I went to a chevy dealership and they have already gone down hill... one of the new cars was dripping gas right on the showroom floor. :icon_rofl: Not to mention EVERY SINGLE vehicle had an orange peel paint job. If I bought a brand new vehicle I would expect it to look brand new and not some car repainted by a shady cheap paint place.

Ford seemed overall pretty good except for the lack of smaller cars sitting around....

Exactly. If Dodge goes under, so does 1 or 2 Cummins plants in the heartland of Indiana.

If I was in the place to do it at Ford, they would have my bussiness card for when Dodge goes under...

First off I never like to see any company fold, but if Chrysler goes down, I definitely will not cHry over it.

It has been firmly established by psychologists and criminal profilers that adults who abuse children or have problems with violence often began by abusing animals. Not only do rodeos abuse animals but those involved in rodeos are often involved in criminal behavior that also defies any regard for human life or the environment we all live in.

Dodge Trucks is guilty of supporting such stupidity at National High School Rodeo Association Rodeos and here in Illinois, Rodeos and Dodge trucks should be burned at the stake for ignoring their own rules and there is much photo evidence of animal abuse at Rodeos. Yet Dodge Trucks blinks and blindly supports this so called sport. Kindness and compassion towards all living beings is a mark of a civilized society. Racism, economic deprivation, dog fighting and cock fighting, bullfighting and rodeos are all cut from the same defective fabric: violence.

But yet Dodge Trucks sponsors these "cowboys". Anyone who disagrees with the above statement, can I taser/pepper spray you to "perform"?

iv owned a 08 ram 1500 and i gotta say i really liked it.. gobs of power...decent fuel mileage...offroad it was amazing, it climbed hill that most jeeps had to take a run at! i even stopped 3 times on the same hill lol

tho id have to say if i wanted another big truck ford diesel for sure if i couldnt get a cummins....

If Chrysler goes under, it's nobody's fault but their own. Any void left in the market will be filled by something BETTER. I have worked on Chrysler cars, I drive a Chrysler minivan at work, and all I have to say is their cars are poorly designed, unreliable pieces of crap and their reputation is well deserved. The only thing they have done right in the last 10-ish years is the Cummins diesel line.

I personally think we should bring back sword fights and jousting, but nobody EVER listens to me.

You think up some weird stuff, man.

I think up weird stuff? DUDE, this has been going on for quite some time, it is stated, established, proven, FACT, google it.

I have no problem bringing back sword fights and jousting as long as the participants are willing, but Rodeos the animals are not willing.

Any rodeo featuring animals is a spectacle of cruelty. All rodeos depend on implements of torture including buckstraps, electric prods and spurs to inflict pain and torment on the animals in order to get them to "perform". The Rodeo Associations have humane rules with dealing with animals, but often these rules are just print on paper.

Without its sponsors like Dodge and Coca-Cola, the rodeo industry could not survive. Chrysler sponsors things that are much worse, they allow sponsorship of bullfighting, which is just as cowardly, but even more cruel and deadly than rodeos.

Chrysler was being ran by Bob Nardelli, the former GE high honcho and almost-successor to Jack Welch at GE. Better known as the man who almost ran Home Depot into the ground -- there's a reason why instead of stores filled with experienced people with decent pay wearing those orange aprons, you have barely-staffed stores full of kids barely out of high school who don't even know how to tie them.

Chrysler was doomed the moment he was hired, can Mr. Marchionne, his successor pull the company out? Dunno.

Thankfully our company does almost zero Chrysler Business, they ditched us years ago, good riddance. As long as Nissan/Toyota/Volvo Trucks/Honda/GM, and many other diverse companies we supply, our company is very diversified and will survive.

All of fords small cars are being bought faster then they make them.

I am rather fond of the Challenger and the Jeep Wrangler... after that not much really appeals to me until you go back in time aways.

I have a 1999 4.0 Wrangler and it is a great, great vehicle.

I like my Ranger a little bit better.

Chrysler has a lot of good products in production right now. The Jeep brand is doing good for them and from what I have read from the Jeep boards I am on, the new models coming out will be awesome.

Not to mention that Dodge has a huge following because of the Cummins engine in their big trucks. The 3/4 and 1 ton trucks is what keeps their truck market alive. Dodge could be even more competitive in the truck market if they would come market the Sterling brand trucks as their heavy duty trucks to compete with the Ford F-450 and F-550.

Nobody uses Dodge trucks as work trucks. F series trucks dominate. Chrysler needs to sell some cars to remain viable. They sell very few cars compared to any other of the big car companies.
