how much gear oil is in the ford 8.8 and dana 35 ttb axles?
and also wat weight oil do you guys recommend?
 
oil weight must be hypoidal gear oil. 80w-90.
my 7.5" diferential uses 2.5 quarts of oil. im not sure how much yours will need tho.
 
can anyone tell me how much gear oil is in the front and rear diffs?
 
The Dana 35 Front is 1.5 Quarts (3.5 pints)
The Dana 8.8 Rear is 2.5 Quarts (5 Pints)

filled and re-filled them over and over and it's almost dead on. the rear can sometimes take a little more.....
 
aight thanks man im fixin to drain all the fluid of both of them and refill i just didnt wanna be short when i do it
