how much can i tow

i would get a hitch. the bumper cant withstand much at all. ive seen too many times when people hook up to their bumper and r left with the bumper riding home in the bed of the truck lol. i have a 91 ranger 4.0 with 33x12.50's and i am not a fraid to pull anything. i have 3.55 gears, dual exhaust, 2 piece driveshaft, and nothing else really special but i have pulled my 20' camper with a load of stuff when we were moving, a heavy duty car trailer with my s10 and also once with my dodge stratus on the trailer.
as long as u have an actual hitch u will be fine. that little u-haul trailer would feel like u arent pulling anything lol.

If your Gross Combination Weight rating (GCW) is 9000 lbs then, yes you would not want to exceed 9000lbs truck and trail together. If your GCW is 7000lbs then you would not want to exceed 7000lbs truck and trailer together. There are axle weights as well, but if your under the combo limit its rarely an issue.
