How many miles . . .?

2003 3.0L - Changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and rotated the tires. A little nervous about the battery this winter. 8 years seems like a stretch for an OEM battery?

i've had a couple motorcraft batteries pass a load test at that age, never seen any other battery last so long.

cheapest thing you can do is go get a free load test at any battery place. pay attention to the volt meter on their machine it should start at 12.6 or more and not drop below 9.5volts. pay attention so they can't just say its bad.. which at 8years old its quite likely it will fail a load test

Bahaha... i have a 92 4.0 with a questionable 90k on it's second rebuild and third set of heads.

But it sure drives a heck of a lot better than a Toyota.
