How many miles on your 3.0 ?

You guys need to come up with a real story here. I purchased my 01 in 04 from a guy in New Orleans with 88k on it. I purchased the truck for my father and he passed away in June of 06 so I parked the truck till November of 09 never once starting it during that time. I installed a new battery and the truck fired right up. The truck now has to date 367k on it with the only problem I've had is a water pump. The truck also has many bolt on mods and runs just as good as the day I bought it.

199,894 on my 99.... no major repairs done to motor... yet... seems like i may have just lost a cylinder today tho.... :(

Got my 98 ranger at 145,000 about 1 1/2 years ago now it has 208,559K. Had A LOT go wrong with it at 198,000 miles or so, auto tranny, transfer case, cracked BOTH cylinder heads, alternator, water pump, radiator, intake manifold, O2 sensor, both front hubs and now im having electrical issues. I drive it pretty hard so it's understandable... BUT my old truck never had problems. I put my 88 ranger through hell and back, it WOULDNT BREAK. Nothing ever went wrong with that truck, I jumped it, hit whoops, motocross tracks mud holes, snow and rocks. I even sank it in a 4 ft deep water puddle. Pulled it out and it fired right up. Anything and everything you could think of, I put that stock ranger through everything and it never skipped a beat. I hit 380,000 miles before it finally blew up. The 98 is JUNK compared to the older truck.

well, im back in the ranger business now... just bought a 97 XLT supercab, flareside with the 3.0 and a little over 190,000 on the clock. this thing is absolutely beautiful... i had to ignore the miles! runs perfect.

99 made in 98, 175k, Bought with failing head gasket, rode on it for a while, rebuilt whole top end, New head gasket and Heads w/ valves, wish i couldve afforded the lifters cuz that lifter knock is killing me >..<, new radiator, new water pump and thermostat, new hoses, all sensors....... still running good though!!!! 3.0 ftw

My truck rolled 170k this week and running better than ever thanks to the composite upper intake I installed recently.

77k. Bought 3 yrs ago with 55k. Original and verified mileage. Purrs like a kitten!

179k now and running great. Replaced the cam sync last year so she should be good to go for another 100k.
