how long will my trany go

i bought a 1983 ranger 4x4 2.3 liter 4 speed manual trans for $300.the trany grinds going to 3rd.i pulled the pan and found broken gear parts and can see where they came from.i am low on funds and would like to know how long can i go on the trany

if it only grinds in a certain gear just skip that gear until you get it fixed

i tryed doing that when my old rangers 4th was acting up...... fix it....

your on borrowed time. Fix it before it trashes everything and gets more expensive.
