This one varies hugely. It all depends on how hard you (ab)use it. My brother never got more than 45K out of a clutch, but others have gotten 200K or more (so far I have about 80K on mine (with a pretty good amount of 4wheeling use) and it's still holding strong.

My 3 liter Aerostar had almost 200,000 miles on it when I had to replace the clutch. My 94 Ranger had 180,000 on it when I bought it with a bad trans. The guy who sold it to me told me that it had 33 inch tires on it when he bought it and that he got it with less than 100,000 on it. The clutch wasn't shot but I replaced it anyway just because everything was apart.

My stock clutch lasted 200,000kms and 8 years, I'm 60k and 2.5 years into this one and it's working great, even with a lot of 4wheelin and trailer towing.

I changed the original clutch in my '88 Ranger, 4cyl, in '07. It had nearly 285,000 miles on it. Clutch itself was still okay. The pilot bearing had failed so just replaced the whole works.

And it survived three Sons learning to drive on it.

I'm on 135K with my original clutch, and that's with a fair amount of miles in four wheel drive in some pretty hairy situations.

Replaced the stocker at 118K. This one didnt see 128K. Remember to resurface the flywheel kiddies.

the one in my 92 had 125k miles on it, and about 14 years on it. I replaced it b/c i had the tranny out to change a bad slave, the clutch actually didn't look too bad.

I sold my first Ranger with over 250k+ on the original clutch, that's with 150k+ highway miles and about 50k of me learning on it and beating the living crap out of it for several years... I still see it around town today...

The stock clutch in my 88 made it about 160K miles or so.... I developed some nice oil leaks a bit after that and the next one didn't make it to 175K.

my 99' made it 7 years and 80k before the throwout bearing took a crap and i just replaced everything while i was in there. but now at 120k this new slave is starting to leak internally and its becomming a royal pain to get it to shift sometimes. i see another clutch job in the near future.
