How high and how big?

I'm in the market for a Ranger and want to make it look a little nicer and be able to have some fun when out camping and what not. That said I'm trying to figure out what kinda lift to put on that will be high enough and look good. Right now I'm planning on 3"-4" body lift with 33x10.5's M/T. Goin with a body lift mainly for price. Trying to find different pics with different size lifts and tires. Any input would be helpful....

3" body lift would be the maximum, any over that is way to dangerous,
i have a 88 2wd with a 3" body lift but shes sagged down a bit since i haven't used it for the winter so shes like at stock height now because of the sagging, Im puttin on a 2-3" lift soon so I'll keep ya updated, right now heres the truck sagged down with a 3" body lift

and if you take 2 pickups identical only one is 4x4 the other 4x2, the 4x4 will be around 2 or 3 inches higher, hope this helps
