How hard is it to replace a clutch in a 89 bronco

Having replaced several Ranger clutches over the years...I cannot imagine replacing the clutch without removing the trans completely. It's worth the small effort to have the extra space to work in, if nothing else.

I know this is going to sound dumb, I'm new to my 85 BII.

Does the 4.0 flywheel fit right on with no modifications? Does the starter just bolt right on to the 2.8 with no mods?

Do I have to change anything else out - slave cylinder, etc to make it work with the 4.0 flywheel?

I believe the only thing you need to change out is the starter and the flywheel, everything else should be fine. Never seen any other mention of the swap needing anything else other than a flywheel and starter from a 4.0 engine.
