How good is this Deal?

( Its all New, Besides the Block Obviously )
All for 500$ through a friend... How good is this deal? should I do it? Any help or input is nice.

Is it already assembled, or is it just the parts? If it is assembled, who assembled it? That's a biggie.

I'd probably pop on that. Even if the engine doesn't run some of those parts alone are worth $500.

Particularly the intake.

Well, the good and the bad?? Mexican block have been notorious for being weak sleeved. Just better be careful there. That's the bad part. If it is already assembled it would be hard to check the block for any stress cracks. If it is apart you are in better luck. Take along somebody who knows what to look for in this area. The good part, I only know one person who bought one 4 years ago. He bought it from some Baja racer from California and it was in really great shape and slightly used. He pulled the heads off and just looked at the piston tops and saw that the pistons had hardly been used and he just put better head gaskets on it. He said he had no trouble with it and used it in a buggy project. He sold it later on and he said it was a good motor and he played hard with it.
