How do you get in your truck ?

I'm 6' 4'' so even getting into very tall lifted trucks I hafta duck...lol jk

I knew a guy who had a friend that knew this dude who's brother's girlfriend's sister had a girfriend that used a stripper pole to get out of her 4X... I personally never seen it though...

Every time I step up, it feels like I'm gonna have crotchal blow out in my pants..so I hillbillified my truck:

Temporary until I make rock sliders...then the chain will be welded to the side of the sliders.

Stop wearing those skinny jeans...lol

my '04 has them on both sides:thefinger:

I feel like running boards are more for looks than anything...at least on stock trucks. Theyre not much lower than the door

The 04 came that way??....I am jealous

I had a really pretty striper sit in my lap one night and she broke my pole....lol

hold on to the steering wheel and jump

when my b2 had 7" of lift and 33's, i just grabbed the "oh $hit" handle and pulled myself up. both feet in at the same time.

but smoothly, not like a fat guy climbing out of a lincoln.

I used to climb up the treads on the rear 66", hangon to the roll bar while stretching forward to open the door, then take a leap of faith and kinda bounce off the door and into the cab. Not even i felt sorry for me!:headbang:

You should have seen me getting in and out of my car when I first got it. You have no idea how many times I hit my head getting in. After being used to my Ranger the car was like laying on the ground.

Then I had to get used to my friends lowered 300ZX. That was a hard one.

My Ranger's stock height, so it's not that hard to get in and out. But my dad's F350 Highboy has a bar welded up so you can get in and out easier. We don't have a problem since we're both 6'1, but the guy he bought it from was 5'6 with Carolina's on.

My old '02 Ranger came with factory step bars. I don't need them and they were mostly only good for getting my pants dirty in the winter. After that I purposely got my '05 Sport Trac without step bars. That truck was about 4" over stock between the TT/shackle lift and bigger tires but I'm 6'1" and mostly legs so I just stepped into it anyway.

Otherwise just grab the steering wheel or A pillar on the passenger side and climb in.

I usually enter through the door, but sometimes I use the sliding rear window...:icon_twisted:

IIRC, another member on this board has a stepladder for his girlfriend...
