1996 was the first year they offered 4WABS, so depending on when your truck was manufactured, it may or may not have it.

If you give a dealer your VIN# they can check for you.

If you have a 2.3 or 3.0, it is RABS only, if you have the 4.0L it has 4WABS.

thanks i will call the dealer today.

IT's easy enough to look underneath and see if there is a cable in clips that runs along wiht the caliper brake hose.

Failing that the ABS pump is kinda obvious uder the hood of a '95-up Ranger.

And for the record I've seen 1994 rangers with factory 4WABS.

On the 4.0 supercabs I believe it was standard starting in 1995.

BTW, Ihave 1995-97 beams on ym truck to get the two piston calipers
and I had an absolute devil of a time getting a NON-ABS Left front brake
hose when I was putting my Ranger together.

there simply was NO LISTING for a non-ABS '95 or '96 Ranger.

I finally found a listing at NAPA for a 1997 without ABS.
