How come the USA didn't do this?

So technically the USA did build it, because Oshkosh built a sandcat as well. (The second one I posted)

the oshkosh one is built from the F-550. And I want one

looks to me like it needs more lighting up front. just my $.02
otherwise, looks good!

are those SEALED BEAMS?!!! Sealed beams are soo obsolete and wasteful.

No, they are not sealed beams. I don't know what the exact name is but they are wicked bright.

I like FPI's better, but than again I am biased.

built right here in Oshkosh, WI

Oh, those, I thought you was talking about the other rig. Yeah, they are sealed beams the same as any other XL work truck. Dad's F-250 has those and they do kind of stink, got some brighter than standard ones and they really are not much different than more modern headlights.

man you should drive one i did a year in iraq and all the mraps are bad ass! they are pressure sealed so as the doors close your ears pop. they ride like a cadi and are quick for there size. thank you tax payers!!!

your welcome. I make them.

Must be a nice job with pride since they are what keep the uniforms safe from evil forces!!

Ever tried to meld that technology onto a ranger!? That would be awesome!!

The Urban Command Ranger; withstand a direct RPG hit and impress the ladies at the same time!

Giggity, giggity

Alright!!

thank you tax payers!!!

Don't thank us yet, it's probably MORE debt, it's not paid for yet. Until we get some serious people at the Capitol, the war on "terror" is hardly paid off.

...but yeah, I would like to test drive one!

P.S. Beer at 2 in the morning had most influence on this post. but it is true

Maybe because the Ford armored vehicle is cheap to build then the Humvee. But those later armored vehicles don't look like they would be cheap to build.

In a nut shell. I like the do all, go anywhere Humvee. Those H2 & H3 copy clones are just street vehicles. If I wanted to, there is a guy sell the real deal. A 1988 Military Humvee with 32K miles on it for $20K+.
