Well its actually one of the cheaper lifts and by the time u dump all or your money into what u want there price is gonna be very close to each other. Keep in mind your gonna need to get new shocks with coil spacers and shackles. A set of cheap shocks are gonne run u at about 120. So lets do the math.
So in the end you are really only saveing about 150. But you will gain so much more with the james duff lift kit. Better suspension handeling as an example. Or if your smart you can wait and find a used lift kit. I bought a james duff lift kit off of here for 200 shipped to my door. So be smart and do some research.
The cheapest 4Inch is the Rough Country with rear blocks. Like 460 bucks.. Thats why im sticking with my 2inch its just the right price for me right now!
They use a drop plate for the drivers side drop braacket. It causes a clearance issue with the diff and under flex it has been known to pop a hole in your diff. Pictures are in the link below. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/D28_D35_swap.html
Well if you keep the D28 there is no problem! Im personally sticking with the ProComp 2".. All I need for now.. well that and some 31s, And a disconnected sway bar!
I actually did that today you can replace the bolts in your front sway bar with clevis pins so you can take them off when you go offroading which gives you a shit ton more flex!
