How Big a Tire on stock wheels and susp?

I currently have 245 75 16's on my FX4. I would like to go to a bigger tire like a 265 70 16 or 265 75 16. Will these fit w/o any mods? And wil they look too big on the truck. Also, I have the 4.10 gears so I'm hoping to help mileage.

they should fit and u wont notice a power difference. there not much bigger, factory a fx2 will clear a 32" tire, a 265 75 16 is approximatly 31 1/2" should fit fine

i have 265/75/16s on my 03 4x4 edge with just a slight tbar crank and i could go a lil bigger before they start to rub

I would go to 31's and skip the metric tire. Size is the same but when asking advice or explaining not as many people know the conversions. Besides 31's sounds better.
