hook up battery terminals-wierd buzzing noise under dash

my truck has been sitting for a while with no battery connected to it,i got a head unit and i thought i would try it, so i wired it up no problem and hooked up the battery, as soon as i hook upboth terminals, there is a weird buzzing noise coming from under the dash, its not my doorchime, becuase mine was a ding noise and i disconected it a while ago.its coming from wat it looks like a little box behind the plug were you plug in a computer, next to the hood lever,anyone have any idea? any questions ask pleasse,thanks.

sounds like a ground issue,is there any markings on this part?what does it say?

hmm doesnt say anything on it its like a blue box right behind iti cant crank it up becuase its on jack stands hopefully i will get it on 4 this week and will try cranking it up

hey did u ever figure this out? i notce a buzzing in my truck sometimes. i noticed it today on teh highway and couldnt really pin point it but it sounded like it was coming formt eh dash.
